RIDE GRAVEL

From the banks of the Mura river to the banks of the Drava river, discover the Međimurje region by bike in a unique way. Adventure trails offer the pleasure and conquest of less known parts of Međimurje, in a different way, on different paths, away from the usual tourist routes…

RIDE GRAVEL

Experience of driving on macadam between Mura and Drava river and much more…
Gravel is first and foremost a lifestyle, cycling that combines riding on surfaces such as asphalt, macadam, dirt, singletrack trails and side roads. No timing, no fashion accessories, not for now. The surface of the course can vary from hard-packed earth to stones the size of a tennis ball. The distance is usually between 50 and 150 kilometers, but can be longer.

Before you embark on a ride, keep a few things in mind. Since you will be driving on gravel and not on smooth asphalt, there is a greater possibility of failure, so be sure to bring spare tubes (and tubeless patching equipment) with levers to remove the outer tire, and a mini tool and pump (or CO2 bomb).

Since you’ll spend most of your time on side roads, you probably won’t run into kiosks or stores. Be sure to bring as much food and drink as you need for the entire ride. If you are going on a longer ride, you may need extra water bottles as there will probably be no place to refill them. Finally, don’t forget that cycling should be fun. Enjoy the new adventure!
